These pages are intended to be an open resource of information, genealogical data, biographical data and sources for the Wampler/Wampfler surname in America. The content of these pages are compiled from information from many sources and no attempt has been made to verify the information. Indeed, in some cases major sources did not correlate as indicated in the entries themselves.

With genealogical data there are sometimes conflicting issues of privacy and completeness of information. Submitters of data to this database assume the responsibility of obtaining the permission for submitting the data of living persons that they choose to include. Some data on living persons will not be included, even if given, and you should consider carefully how complete the record should be for these people.

SUBMITTERS of data must give contact information (at minimum name, mailing address AND phone number or e-mail address must be included). The submitters name will be included on the site if the data submitted is included. Other information may be made public as follows:

1) contact e-mail addresses will be given with the submitters name unless an explicit request is made to exclude it.

2) All contact information will be provided to the archivists of the database (see home page).

3) No other contact information except for the name and e-mail address will be included on these pages without an explicit request to do so.
